MY FAVORITE BOOK AND FILM
Since I was little I always liked to read a lot, it's my favorite activity, so choose just one book is very hard for me to do.
I remember when I was younger my mother always read me "The Little Prince", she even took my brother and I to a play based on that book.
When I grew up I read it sometimes, and over the years the meaning of it always changed, and I think it's attractive because of that, it's a book that depends of your age could mean different things. And it's also a book full of teachings and messages that can really change your mind and way to see differents things and situations that life brings.
I recommend it because it would give you new ways to think and see the world and the beauty of the small and simple things that enriches life.
It was written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a french aviator and poet.
I'm a big fan of films, and it's easier for me to choose my favorite film because this one really changed my life. It's called "Schindler's List", directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the novel "Schindler's Ark" by the australian novelist Thomas Keneally.

I watched it when I was 17, and it was very hard for me to watch, because what makes it attractive is the real world and the horrors the war, and it's very explicit to.
It's about a businessman, Oskar Schindler who arrives in Krakow, ready to make his fortune from World War II, which has just started.
After he joined the Nazi party, primarily for political expediency, he staffs his
factory with Jewish workers.
When the SS begins exterminating Jews in Krakow, he keeps his factory operating to protect his workers.
At the end of the film, you can see that he saved so many innocent lives (more than one thousand), but even so he collapses when he starts to think that he could have saved more if he had spending more money.
After that the war ends and his workers are free to go.

OSKAR SCHINDLER PLAYED BY LIAM NEESON |
When the movie ends some images appear about the real Schindler's Jews, in his grave.
I recommend it because it's a very dramatic film about things that really happen years ago, and it gives a different perspective of some Nazi mens, like Oskar Schindler.
Wow..."Schindler list" makes me feel sad, it's a good movie with a nice meaning!
